5月12日，由中国铁路第10局建造的库利铁路III阶段最长的隧道是Liyangshan隧道，取得了突破性的进步，——隧道的倾斜轴成功完成。

根据中国铁路第10局项目经理的说法，Liyang Mountain Tunnel的总长度为11,375.93米，是一条单孔双线隧道，速度为每小时200公里，最大掩埋深度为602.05m。整个隧道上有2个辅助隧道，即坦克的倾斜轴（长1160m）和Sancunwan倾斜轴（长1120m）。

作为一个完整的控制项目，Liyang Mountain隧道跨越了许多断层和密集的关节，在国家高速公路G330下通过，水流隧道和天然气管道，并经过许多高级压力和极高的高水平压力切片。裂缝发展，岩石质量破裂，周围的岩石的稳定性较差。同时，隧道位于水丰富的区域，在开挖过程中容易出现水和泥浆灾难，这很难建造并且具有很高的安全风险。
